Contact
Have a question or a suggestion, or spotted a mistake in an article? Tell us. Every piece of reader feedback helps us make our content more accurate and more useful.
Before you get in touch
- Editorial email: [email protected] (our only official contact channel)
- We will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys or wallet password.
- We don't offer investment advice, fund management or fund recovery services.
- If your crypto was just stolen or you've been scammed, jump to what to do first.
What you can contact us about
To help your message reach the right editor faster, add a tag to the start of your subject line:
| Type | Subject line tag | What to send |
|---|---|---|
| Corrections | [Correction] | Factual errors, outdated data, broken links, translation issues |
| Topic ideas | [Topic] | Subjects you'd like covered, scams you've run into, questions you want answered |
| Partnerships | [Partnership] | Content partnerships, republishing requests, event invitations |
| Impersonation | [Report] | Someone posing as CryptoMag or our editors and asking for funds or your seed phrase |
| Other | [Other] | Website issues, accessibility suggestions and anything else |
How to write an email we can act on quickly
For corrections, please include the following. It makes verification much faster:
- Article link: the full URL of the article.
- The problem: quote the sentence or figure that needs fixing.
- The correction: what you believe is accurate.
- Your source: official documentation, an announcement, a block explorer link or anything else we can check.
For topic ideas, describing the specific situation helps a lot. "I received unknown USDT and then someone asked me to verify my seed phrase" is far easier to turn into a genuinely useful article than "write about scams."
Never include a seed phrase, private key, wallet password or exchange password in your email, not even to "explain the situation." A wallet address and transaction hash are all we'd ever need.
About partnerships
We welcome partnerships related to content, education and security. To keep our content independent, there are a few things we don't do:
- Publish price calls, token promotions or promises of returns.
- Endorse any project or token.
- Run advertising disguised as news or tutorials.
Beware of CryptoMag impersonators
Scammers often pose as media outlets, support agents or "technical teams" to win your trust. Remember:
- We will never contact you first by direct message, social media, phone or text.
- We will never ask you to download software, connect your wallet or click a "verification" link.
- We will never ask you to send funds or pay a "fee" or "unlock charge" for any reason.
- We don't offer stolen-fund recovery and have no partner "recovery team."
Anyone doing these things in CryptoMag's name is an impersonator. Please email us with [Report] in the subject line so we can help warn others.
Been hacked or scammed? Do this first
We can't recover funds for you, but these steps can help limit the damage:
- Move what's left immediately: create a brand-new wallet on a device you trust and transfer your remaining funds.
- Revoke suspicious approvals: check for token approvals you don't recognize and revoke them.
- Preserve evidence: save transaction hashes, the other party's addresses, chat logs and screenshots of any websites.
- Report it quickly: in the US, file at ic3.gov and ReportFraud.ftc.gov; elsewhere, contact your local police.
- Watch for follow-up scams: anyone claiming they can "technically recover" or "unfreeze" your funds is almost certainly a scammer.

FAQ
Can you tell me whether a coin is worth buying?
No. We don't give investment advice or comment on where specific coins are headed. If you'd like to learn to analyze the market yourself, start with how to read crypto market data.
My wallet was hacked. Can you help me get my funds back?
No. We don't offer fund recovery services and don't work with any recovery team. Follow the steps above to report it and preserve evidence as soon as possible, and be wary of anyone who says they can recover your funds.
Can I republish CryptoMag articles?
Please email us with [Partnership] in the subject line, telling us which articles you'd like to republish, where and why. Once we've agreed, republish with clear credit and a link to the original.
Someone claiming to be a CryptoMag editor contacted me. How can I tell if it's real?
We never message readers first. If someone reaches out by direct message, social media or phone, especially about wallets, transfers or seed phrases, treat it as impersonation. Please forward the details to us with [Report] in the subject line.
