About CryptoMag

CryptoMag is a bilingual (Chinese and English) blog about crypto and blockchain. We do one thing: explain a complex, fast-moving industry in a way that's clear, accurate and free of hype.

In crypto, many people don't lose money because they misread the market. They lose it to a photographed seed phrase, a signature they didn't understand or a fake support agent. That's why, alongside markets and technology, we spend a lot of time on security: how to store a seed phrase, how to spot scams and what to do if you've been robbed.

Editorial principles

  1. Accuracy first: data and technical details come from protocol documentation, official announcements, security research and verifiable on-chain data. We don't repeat unconfirmed rumors.
  2. Explain the risks: whenever we describe a product or mechanism, we cover its risks and limits, not just its benefits.
  3. No shilling: we don't give buy or sell calls, promise returns or endorse projects.
  4. Transparent examples: when a story used to illustrate a risk is a composite built from common patterns, we say so in the article and use a pseudonym.
  5. Prompt corrections: we fix errors quickly and note the update date on the article. Report issues through our contact page.

  • No investment advice: we don't recommend buying or selling any coin, and we don't predict prices.
  • No fund recovery services: anyone claiming they can recover stolen crypto for you has nothing to do with us.
  • No unsolicited contact: we'll never reach out by direct message, phone or email, and we'll never ask for your seed phrase, private keys or wallet password.

Anyone making these requests in CryptoMag's name is an impersonator.

FAQ

Can I use CryptoMag's content to make investment decisions?

No. Our articles are for education and risk awareness, to help you understand how crypto works and where the risks are. They aren't investment, legal or tax advice. Any investment decision is yours to make based on your own situation.

How is the English content different from the Chinese content?

Both cover the same topics, but they aren't word-for-word translations. The Chinese articles focus more on situations and scams common among Chinese-speaking readers, while the English articles are written for an international audience, with details like where to report fraud adjusted by region.

I found a mistake in an article. How do I report it?

Tell us through our contact page. Include the article link, what needs changing and a source we can check. We'll correct it as soon as we've verified it.

I've been hacked or scammed. Can CryptoMag help me get my funds back?

No. We don't offer any fund recovery services. Report it right away: in the US, file at ic3.gov and ReportFraud.ftc.gov; elsewhere, contact local police. And watch out for "recovery" offers, which are usually a second scam.
